The Guardians of Cincinnati (often referred to as the Cincinnati Guardians) are a professional football team based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. A charter member of the American Football Association, the Guardians play their home games at Blakemore Stadium.

HistoryEdit

The Guardains were founded in 1898 as the Cincinnati Knights, and were part of the GLFL and later the MWL, the team almost folded in 1939, but survived barely, and was renamed the Guardians of Cincinnati in 1943. the team played in the first three victory bowls, but lost all of them to the Imperials. The teams has played in the Northern Division ever since it was founded in 1952. Today the teams plays in Blakemore Stadium, named after the teams owner Grant Blakemore II
